  Coffee black, cigarettes,
start this day, like all the rest.
First thing every morning that I do,
is start missing you.

Some broken hearts never mend,
some memories never end,
some tears will never dry,
my love for you will never die.

Rendezvous in the night,
A willing woman to hold me tight,

But in the middle of love's embrace,
I see you face.

Some broken hearts never mend,
some memories never end,

Some tears will never dry,
my love for you will never die.

Jack crying in the car
When I saw the movie first time back in 2005, at that scene when Jack was so cruelly sent away by Ennis after the divorce, I was so hugely upset I almost jumped out of my chair and wished I were there so I could box Ennis' ears and knocked some senses into him.

And when Jack cried in the car I really worry that he was going to have an accident and got badly injured in the highway. Then I didn't really understand what he was doing in Mexico - it was not until that big fight by the lake I finally understood - I was so heartbroken for our boys - not only for their fate, but their wasted lives as well.

Re: Jack crying in the car
Thank you for giving my journal a try. I appreciate your feelings, to tell you the truth many of my sketches are discarded because my own tears fall on them as I sketch. I'm glad I don't do this for a living, I would never be able to make a deadline. It was extreamly sad and no way to fix it, except for great Authors who won't give up and twist Ennis' arms until he tells Jack, Yes to that good life. Most of my sketches are inspired by a song or a poem. Sometimes I'm even giving them a second chance even if it is not in this world but the next. I hope you keep reading. I could send a box of tissues?
Thank you so much for friending me, I friended you back.
Hugs,
Torry

Hug hug... I mean, if those wonderful sketches bring tears to my eyes(and so many other readers eyes) then I can only imagine what you went through when you made them.

Yes, I know, BBM is such a heartbreaking story, I can't recover even after 5 years, and it is pretty obvious neither can many other people including you...But if you think about it, one of the major reason we are so moved and touched is because it is a great tragedy. Tragedies are always much more powerful than happy endings. If BBM has a happy ending, then we will all be happy but we won't be moved to tears, even beyond tears after so many years, isn't it?

Re: Jack crying in the car
So true,if it had been a happy ending, none of us would have been affected as deeply. It's human nature to want to help the wounded and we are inconsolable when we are unable to intervene.
