Wedding Dance (canon) (art) ( torry28 )

This is a brief view of Alma Jr. and Kurt's wedding and the father, daughter dance.
I borrowed the characters from Anni, no disrespect meant to her or the actors portraying the characters of BBM.
Everyone familiar with the story is aware Jack is no longer alive at this stage. But my imagination allows him to talk to Ennis and reveal to him some occurrences still to come in the future.

             " Daughter of Mine"

These are the thoughts of a father
On the wedding day of his daughter
As his mind wanders back to the
          first time he held her

He looks at her now, the same pride in his eyes
As onto the dance floor they glide
This is the dance of the bride and the father

Dance with me daughter of mine
     On this you wedding day
Dance with me daughter of mine
      You'll soon be going away

I love you so, since you first began
Now you found a new man

But I love you so, and this you must know
          That my love won't falter
       So dance with me daughter
        Beautiful daughter of mine.
            We walk down the aisle
On my face there's a smile
But deep in my heart there's a tear
           Our friends and relations
            are there in the church
With smiles on their faces they stare
As we walk t'ward the man
         who has stolen your heart
And to whom I must give you away
But I wish you love and happiness too
        On this your wedding day

               The dance has begun
             We twirl around the floor
But I know you're not my little girl any more

A lovely young woman has taken her place
And there's happiness written all over her face
But always remember although we must part
You may leave my arms, but never my heart

( Continues at the Reception )

         "She is beautiful, Cowboy."

"Thank you Jack, I think so too!!"

"Damn, someone must have spiked the punch"

( Later Down the Road )

"Is it time, Jack?"                                     "Not yet, Cowboy, but soon."
"Will I ...will I be able to....?"                          "Hold  your first Grandson?

"Yes Ennis, Lizzy is going to have a little brother.
            It's wonderful don't you think?
Junior and Kurt with two girls of their own.
       And Bobby and Francine combining
the Del Mar and Twist blood.
         Never would have dreamed it."

"Jack? I love you, always have, you do know that now, don't you?"

"I do, Ennis, I always known, we'll be together soon , Babe.
until then tell little Ennis Jack how much his two grandpas love him."

"I miss you so much, Jack."

"Me too, Ennis, soon Babe, I will bring us home soon."

Aw my Beautiful Lady ! *melting...*
I can't believe the quantity and the quality of the work you done here... what a masterpiece , so powerful , so strongly emotional !
I remember telling you that you were made to tell Stories by your Drawings , it seems that it's a marvellous example here !
I love the way your drawing style seems absolutely fit with fairytale or dreams...
I can feel your mind at work while drawing and how much you're close to your Characters , more than you probably are close to the Characters on your RL often , just like me :))
I would like to know that your drawings are safe in a dedicated place and that one day you take the time to make a real book with all of them love !!!

Congrats, Hugs and major Love from your Frenchie Groupie :)))
(PS : I collected 3 beautiful cards to send to you and I wait for my Hub to go to the Post Office poor Sweetie ! He would like to do it soon as it's for you and he likes you a lot because you always send hugs to him ( well I'm pretty much jealous on this one but I say nothing , hem... :-) )
Just to say I think of you darling and you will hear from me soon !:) )
Much love always

Thank you for your high praise. You know how easy it is when you love the subject you are sketching. The first time I heard that song when my son danced with his daughter at her wedding that was a few years ago. The little girl sprinting is actually my sons granddaughter chasing our husky, she loves that dog. I am thinking about maybe writing a story and putting it on DVD with some illustrations, it's hard to get things published, but I won't dismiss it just yet. Don't be jealous of me, I'm older than dirt and way over here across the ocean. Just want to hug your man for being so sweet to you and taking care of you and running to the post office just to send me your love.
Thank you Dear Heart you make me immensely happy .
